Artist Bio

King is a hyper-realist painter based in Charlotte, North Carolina, known for his intricate

and emotionally resonant oil landscapes. With over sixteen years of training and

dedication to the fine arts, King creates work that captures the quiet intensity of the

natural world with photographic clarity and depth. His practice is rooted in hyperrealism,

using oil paint as his primary medium, though he is also highly proficient in acrylic,

watercolor, drawing, screen printing, and woodblock techniques.

A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor’s degree in

Art, King has spent his life honing his technique and building a body of work defined by

technical precision and expressive storytelling.

For King, art is not just a passion—it’s personal. It’s what saved his life. Through

painting, he found healing, identity, and purpose. Every brushstroke reflects a lifetime of

persistence, survival, and a relentless drive to master his craft.

He is currently preparing to pursue a Master’s degree in Italy, where he will study

classical marble sculpture. This next chapter marks another step in his ongoing

evolution as an artist. King’s only promise to himself is to keep growing—technically,

emotionally, and spiritually—until he fulfills his mission of becoming the greatest artist

who ever lived.
